Fitness Program
What is a Fitness Program?
A fitness program is one that helps you create a routine where you perform activities that are considered fitness activities. I will create a program to help you burn fat, build muscle, improve cardiovascular health, lower blood pressure, and regulate your weight. As a fitness coach, I incorporate five core elements that a balanced and effective fitness program includes. These elements are aerobic activity, strength, core, balance, and flexibility. As a fitness coach, I will incorporate all of these elements into your fitness program.
Aerobic activity is intended to improve your endurance. This activity is referred to as cardio, and it often the most critical piece of a fitness program. It forces you to breathe deep and fast, which causes your body to maximize the oxygen in your blood. Your heart beats faster, which increases the amount of blood going from your muscles to your lungs. Strength training is intended to improve your bone strength and increase your muscular fitness. Strength training can also help you manage your weight. This element helps to improve every activity in your everyday daily life. Working every muscle group multiple times per week is ideal. Your core includes the muscles in your low back, pelvis, upper thighs, and abdomen. It covers a wide range and is essential to your overall health. When these muscles are strong, they help to protect your back. They also help to brace your spine and use the muscles of your upper and lower body.
Exercises for balance are ideal, no matter your age. As we age, we tend to lose balance, so it is suitable for everyone to improve balance. Decreased ability to balance can mean falls which may mean fractures and broken bones. Balance exercises help to make your core stable. Flexibility is critical to overall fitness and something that may be easily overlooked. Stretching can help to improve flexibility and makes daily activities easier.
